Happy Tenth!
In 2002, Sally Craig and her husband Darrell debuted a festival for adult musicians based in Williamsburg Virginia called the Williamsburg Consort. For 15 glorious years these two people and an amazing group of volunteers ran this festival which was a delight for the community. I was fortunate to serve as a guest conductor for three of the years of the Consort. Upon their retirement, I asked their blessing to launch The French Woods Classic Band Festival. Not only did they give their blessing, but Darrell who was a wonderful artist, designed a logo that reflected the Classic and paid tribute to the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. That logo has been on our polo shirts since our first season and you can see it just next to our name on our website. Come join us as we celebrate 10 years of the Classic and the 25th anniversary of the founding of The Williamsburg Consort.

10th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Performances
Join the Jazz Ensemble and our chamber musicians in an evening of music, dancing and eating as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. Dinner and music will alternate to create a magical experience to celebrate ten years of the Classic Band Festival.

German Band performance at the Riverfest/Hancock Farmers Market in Hancock Town Square
The Ein Prosit French Woods German Band will perform at the Hanock Town Square Farmers Market which is free and open to the public..
